Automotive Technician

Job summary:

The incumbent will perform general repair and maintenance services on customers' cars and light-duty trucks while maintaining the highest level of performance and attention to detail.

Automotive Service Advisor

Laplante Dodge is seeking a bilingual experienced Service Advisor (Service Technician) for their growing Service department. You are a driven individual with a natural inclination to deliver great customer experience and you have a desire to succeed and contribute to the success of the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome customers as soon as they enter the building.
  • Open work orders and expertly recommend required automotive maintenance and repairs to the customer.
  • Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicle.
  • Must serve and advise customers in order to meet their needs, both on the phone and in person.

Qualifications: (Requirements and Competencies)

  • Must be fully bilingual in both French and English.
  • Must have experience dealing with different types of people in a retail environment.
  • Must have 1-2 years experience as a Service Advisor in the field of automotive
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with all other departments in the retail facility
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced industry
  • Willingness to spend time with individual customers, even in a hectic and busy environment.
  • Focused, driven, team player, with strong and effective communication skills.
